Pseudocyst Stent

The pancreatic pseudocyst stent is used for reliable drainage of endoscopic removal of concrement. The design of the stent with its distal umbrella form and proximal tulip causes that during an eventual migration only a dislocation into the stomach occurs and not into the cyst. By the large diameter of 16 mm in the middle of the stent it is possible to remove concrement endoscopically. The 10.5 French TTS (through-the-scope) insertion system is brought into position through the working channel of the endoscope with the aid of a guide wire. When the stent is released, 4 radiopaque markers at each end of the stent ensure excellent identification on radiological images.

Specific characteristics:

Stent with complete silicone covering High degree of positional stability Atraumatic tips High level of radial force Tantalum radiomarkers TTS insertion system Guide wire passage up to 0.035 inches.

KEY BENEFITS

new bridge between gastrointestinal lumen and pancreas

self-expanding stent with mashroom and umbrella ends, more safety (mashroom avoid the stent dropping into the pancreas, umbrella for easy-retrieval)

special safe lock to ensure the release process in the safe condition

fully covering, to prevent the hyperplasia

innovative drainage method, less complication, higher efficiency
